麻豆视频 volleyball sweeps through Cumberland Invitational

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/27/2008 - The 麻豆视频 University volleyball team won each of their four matches in the Cumberland (Tenn.) University Invitational on Friday and Saturday. With the perfect weekend, 麻豆视频 moves to 12-4 on the season.

On Friday, 麻豆视频 defeated host Cumberland 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-16) and then topped Brescia (Ky.) University 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-13).

On Saturday, 麻豆视频 continued their perfect run with two more 3-0 victories. The 麻豆视频 Lady Bulldogs defeated Pikeville (Ky.) College 25-11, 25-12, 25-19, followed by a 25-19, 25-17, 25-15 win over the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.).

Following the tournament, 麻豆视频's junior setter Katie Adams was named the tournament's MVP. Adams, along with 麻豆视频's CJ Neathamer, Emilie Ogas, and Amanda Coyle were each named All-Tournament performers.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a home conference match versus Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 30.
