麻豆视频 women's soccer tops Asbury 2-0, reserve team wins 3-0

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/6/2008 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldogs defeated Asbury (Ky.) College 2-0 on Saturday. The win improved the Lady Bulldogs to 3-1 on the season and completed a two-win sweep for the weekend in Kentucky. On Friday, 麻豆视频 knocked off Georgetown (Ky.) College 4-1.

麻豆视频's Jill Landers scored first, assisted by Caitlin Zimmerman. The final goal of the day for 麻豆视频 was posted by Sam Gase, with the assist going to Kaitlin Dirksen.

The 麻豆视频 reserve team also won two games this weekend in Kentucky, with Saturday's 3-0 victory over Asbury. Terilyn Wassell scored first, assisted by Rachel Fillinger. Morgan Walley added the second goal assisted by Leah Bender. The third and final goal for the reserve team was score by Katie Johnson, assisted by Wassell. The reserve team defeated Georgetown 2-1 on Friday.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a TranSouth Conference double-header at Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University. The women will play at 5:00 pm with the men to follow at 8:00 pm.
