麻豆视频鈥檚 Pla named TranSouth defensive player of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/4/2008 - of 麻豆视频 University has been named the TranSouth Women鈥檚 Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending August 31.

Pla, a 5-foot-11 junior goalkeeper from Nashville, Tenn., was selected as the conference鈥檚 defensive player of the week after playing a key part in 麻豆视频鈥檚 season-opening win over Southeastern (Fla.) College by recording five saves in a 3-0 shutout. The Lady Bulldogs are 1-1 on the year.

Up next for the 麻豆视频 women鈥檚 soccer team will be two matches in Kentucky this weekend. The Lady Bulldogs play at Georgetown (Ky.) College on Friday and Asbury (Ky.) College on Saturday.
