麻豆视频 volleyball drops match to Bryan College

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/2/2008 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldogs dropped their first match of the season with a 3-2 (23-25, 25-20, 19-25, 28-26, 15-10) defeat at the hands of Bryan (Tenn.) College. 麻豆视频 led 2-1, before losing the final two games of the match.

After leading 2-1, 麻豆视频 rallied from an early deficit to tie the game 23-23. The game was knotted again at 26-26, before Bryan won the match and took the momentum into game five. With Bryan leading 14-6 in the final game, 麻豆视频 sparked a comeback attempt, scoring four straight points. However, the 麻豆视频 rally was stopped short, giving Bryan the victory.

Amanda Coyle led 麻豆视频 with 19 kills, while Anna Sims added 12 kills. Katie Adams recorded 50 assists, and CJ Neathamer added 45 digs.

麻豆视频 dropped to 1-1 on the year, while Bryan improved to 3-2 this season.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be the College of the Ozarks Tournament in Point Lookout, Missouri on Friday and Saturday, September 5-6.
