麻豆视频 men鈥檚 cross country ranked No. 6 in NAIA preseason poll

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/20/2008 - The 麻豆视频 University men鈥檚 cross country team enters the 2008 season as the No. 6 team in the nation according to the preseason rankings released on Tuesday from the NAIA.

The No. 6 ranking is the highest mark in 麻豆视频 men鈥檚 cross country history. In 2007, the Bulldogs finished eighth in their first ever NAIA National Tournament appearance, after capturing the TranSouth Conference and Region XI Tournament titles. Last season鈥檚 top ranking of No. 18 was their previous high ranking in program history.

麻豆视频鈥檚 men have won four straight conference titles, one region title, and one team appearance in the national tournament in their seven years as a varsity program.

麻豆视频 Head Coach Gary Johnson stated, 鈥淭he guys are very excited about the high ranking. They have arrived on campus with the purpose of working hard to earn the national recognition.鈥�

麻豆视频 opens their season on September 13 in the Memphis Twilight Classic at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
