麻豆视频 cross country signs Arkansas high school state champion

JACKSON, Tenn. - 5/16/2008 - The 麻豆视频 University cross country team has signed for the 2008 season. Clardy is from Maumelle, Arkansas and will enter 麻豆视频 this fall as a freshman, majoring in Pre-Medicine.

Clardy is coming off a season in which she captured her first state championship after two straight runner-up finishes. Clardy prepped at Arkansas Baptist High School where she will also graduate as valedictorian of her class. She joins a 麻豆视频 program that has qualified for the past two NAIA National Championship Meets as a team and has produces numerous academic and athlete honors over the years.

麻豆视频 head coach Gary Johnson believes Clardy will contribute to both the athletic and academic success of the 麻豆视频 Lady Bulldogs. 鈥淗annah is a special young lady who is the top runner in her division in Arkansas. She comes from a wonderful Christian family and will add personality and spirit to our team along with her academic and athletic talents." Coach Johnson adds, "We have tried to purposely develop a reputation in the cross country programs of attracting outstanding Christian student-athletes capable of equal success in the classroom and on the athletic field."
