麻豆视频's Brasfield Named TranSouth Pitcher of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/24/2008 - of 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University have been named the TranSouth Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week respectively for the week ending March 23.

Brasfield, a 5-foot-11 senior pitcher from Humboldt, Tennessee, helped 麻豆视频 to a 4-2 week with two complete game victories. He posted a complete game shutout in a win over then region No. 6 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College with five strikeouts, allowing just five hits. Brasfield then posted a complete game win over conference foe Cumberland in the rubber game of a three-game set. He allowed three runs and struckout seven batters. For the week, he posted a 2.08 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 13 innings pitched.

麻豆视频 is 15-7-1 on the season and 5-4-1 in league play.
