麻豆视频 Men Close Regular Season with Season Best Fifth Straight Win

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/1/2008 - The 麻豆视频 University Bulldogs locked up fifth place in the TranSouth Conference with a 104-81 win at Mid-Continent University (Ky.). The win is 麻豆视频鈥檚 season best fifth straight win. The Bulldogs improved to 18-12 on the season and 12-8 in league play. Mid-Continent dropped to 10-22 overall and 5-15 in league play.

麻豆视频 has earned a bye in Tuesday鈥檚 first round of the conference tournament. 麻豆视频 will open the conference tournament on the road at the four-seed Cumberland University Bulldogs on Thursday night, March 6 at 7:00 pm. The semifinals will be Saturday, March 8, with the championship game on Tuesday, March 10. The higher seed in each game will be the host.

In the 12-year history of the League, 麻豆视频 has won five of the regular season titles and five tournament titles, more that any other team in the league. 麻豆视频 has appeared in seven of the 11 TranSouth Tournament Championship games to this point in the league鈥檚 history.

In this game, 麻豆视频 was led by junior guard Brian Lake with a career-high 38 points. He added 15 rebounds to set his TranSouth leading 13 double-double of the season. Matt Neaville added 16 points, Tacuma Alexander posted 14 points, and Keith Tolliver scored 13 points.
