Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Baseball Adds Huntingdon’s McAdams for 2008-09 Season

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/5/2008 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University baseball program continues to add to the roster for 2008-09. The latest addition is from Huntingdon, Tennessee. McAdams will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this coming fall as a freshman and will major in Political Science.

McAdams, a 6-foot 180 lb. third baseman, played football and baseball for two seasons at Ripley High School. McAdams then transferred to Huntingdon High School where he played baseball and football for his junior and senior seasons. In 2007, he helped lead the Huntingdon baseball team to the District and Region Titles. McAdams also helped the Ripley team to District and Region titles in 2005. McAdams was a three-time All-District baseball performer, and was twice named All-Region in football. During his junior year in 2007, McAdams hit .326 with four homeruns and a team-high 41 RBI. On the mound, McAdams posted a 5-0 record with 2.96 ERA.

McAdams is the son of John and Kim McAdams.
