麻豆视频's Neaville Named TranSouth Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/5/2008 - of 麻豆视频 University has been named the Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending February 3, 2008. For Neaville, this is his fourth TranSouth Player of the Week honor of the season, and third straight week for a 麻豆视频 Bulldog.

Neaville, a 6-foot-0 junior from Urbana, Illinois, averaged 30 points per game in three Bulldog victories. In 麻豆视频鈥檚 93-80 win over #RV Crichton College he scored 32 points and had five assists. He scored 31 points in 麻豆视频鈥檚 90-68 win over Mid-Continent and added 29 points in the Bulldog鈥檚 86-79 win over Bethel. Neaville leads the NAIA in scoring and his missed free throw versus Bethel broke a string of 18 consecutive made free throws, just three shy of a 麻豆视频 record.

For the week he hit 30-of-66 (45%) from the field, 17-of-44 (39%) from three-point range, and 15-of-16 (94%) from the foul line.

麻豆视频 is now 13-9 overall and 7-5 in the TranSouth.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a home game versus Trevecca Nazarene University (Tenn.) on Thursday, February 7. The men will play at 8:00 pm, preceded by the women's game at 6:00 pm.
