麻豆视频's Owino Named TranSouth Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/22/2008 - Josephine Owino of NAIA No. 1 麻豆视频 University is the TranSouth Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week ending January 20, 2008.

Owino, a 6鈥�4鈥� junior from Mombasa, Kenya, averaged 19 points and eight rebounds during a pair of wins in conference play this week.

In the Bulldogs 100-83 win at No. 23 Cumberland University she scored 25 points while grabbing eight rebounds. She hit 10-of-14 from the field. She scored 13 points and had another eight rebounds as well as two blacks and three steals in the Bulldogs 104-73 win at Martin Methodist.

For the week she hit 15-of-21 (71%) from the field.

麻豆视频 is now 17-0 on the season and are 6-0 in conference play.
