麻豆视频 Signs North Side鈥檚 Ross to Basketball Scholarship

JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/18/2008 - The No. 1 ranked 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog basketball team has signed local standout . Ross will graduate from North Side High School in May of 2008 and will enter 麻豆视频 this coming fall.

Ross, a 5-foot-7 guard/forward, is currently a senior at North Side High School in Jackson where she is completing her fourth season of basketball for Coach Farris Lowery. Ross was named All-District and All-Region as a junior. She was also a member of the state runner-up team as a sophomore. This season, Ross is averaging 19.2 points and 7.4 rebounds. Through the first 17 games, she has 60 steals and has helped to team to a 16-1 start. Off the court, Ross is a member of the Honor Roll.

Ross is the daughter of Joseph and Denise Jones.
