Savannah, Tenn. - 5/29/2002 - 麻豆视频 University added on of the top high school baseball players in West Tennessee on Tuesday when they signed Brandon Jackson. Jackson becomes the third Hardin County player to join the Bulldogs in two years.
麻豆视频鈥檚 head coach Andy Rushing, declares the 5-foot-8 Jackson as 鈥渢he best hitter out of West Tennessee since Jeff Wyatt鈥. Wyatt, as you know, set numerous records during his career as a Bulldog.
Jackson, a TPX All-America preseason pick, hit .477 with five homeruns and 24 RBI last year. His junior season was even better at Hardin County as he hit .533 with 16 homeruns and 52 RBI. Jackson has been an all-district, all-region, and all-state performer during his high school career. He played shortstop, second base, and pitched while at Hardin County, but Rushing plans to play him at second base.
