麻豆视频 Men Finish Eighth In National Championship Meet, Two All-Americans

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/17/2007 - The 麻豆视频 University men鈥檚 cross country team capped off their best season in program history with an eighth place finish in the NAIA National Championship Meet. This was the first team appearance for the 麻豆视频 men in the national meet, after winning their first ever NAIA Region XI Title and fourth straight TranSouth Conference Tournament championship.

The Bulldogs were lead by who finished fifth place overall in 24:48. Rop lead 麻豆视频 this season, winning four of the six races in which he competed. Rop also finished fourth in the Memphis Twilight meet and fifth overall in the NAIA National Championship race.

麻豆视频 also had the first two runners in program history to receive NAIA All-American honors. 麻豆视频鈥檚 Rop and , who finished 23rd in the national meet, both were among the top-30 runners named All-Americans. In addition to the two All-Americans, 麻豆视频 also boasted three NAIA Scholar Athletes. Martin, along with and Josh Abbotoy earned the honor give to juniors or seniors with a 3.5 or higher.
