麻豆视频鈥檚 Zimmerman Named TranSouth/NAIA Region XI Women鈥檚 Soccer Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/8/2007 - The TranSouth Conference and NAIA Region XI has named 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 as the TranSouth Conference Player of the Week for the week ending October 7, 2007.

Zimmerman, a 5-foot-5 junior forward from Lebanon, Tenn., helped lead the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week with a total of five goals. In 麻豆视频鈥檚 5-1 win over Lambuth, she scored her second hat trick of the season with three goals. In the 5-3 win at Cumberland, Zimmerman had another two goals. Her point total on the week was 10. 麻豆视频 is now 9-3 on the season and is tied for second in the TranSouth at 5-1. The 麻豆视频 women鈥檚 soccer team is on a program record six-match winning streak.

On the season, Zimmerman is leading 麻豆视频 with 16 goals, six assists, and 38 points. In 麻豆视频鈥檚 current six-match winning streak, Zimmerman has scored 11 of 麻豆视频 20 goals.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will a road match in the conference at Crichton College (Tenn.) on Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
