麻豆视频 Women's Soccer Wins Record Sixth Straight with Win over Cumberland

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/6/2007 - The 麻豆视频 University women's soccer team won for the sixth straight time this season with a 5-3 win at Cumberland University (Tenn.). This six-game winning streak for 麻豆视频 is the longest in the three year history of the program, breaking a five-game streak last season. 麻豆视频 improved to 9-3 overall and 5-1 in the TranSouth. Cumberland dropped to 2-6 on the season and 2-4 in the league.

麻豆视频's Caitlin Zimmerman continued her goal scoring streak with two more goals versus Cumberland. This is the fourth straight game in which she has tallied at least one goal. This also marks the fifth time on the season that Zimmerman has tallied at least two goals in a match.

Cara Pasley added another goal for 麻豆视频, with Cumberland helping the Lady Bulldogs with two own goals. 麻豆视频's Cheslie Tharpe and Candice Blackard added one assist each. Laura Pla recorded six saves in the contest.
