麻豆视频鈥檚 Pla Adds another NAIA Region XI and TranSouth Defensive Player of the Week Honor

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/2/2007 - 麻豆视频 University women鈥檚 soccer goalie has been named the TranSouth Conference and NAIA Region XI Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 30, 2007.

For Pla, this is her fourth conference weekly award (third straight) and second straight region honor.

Pla, a 5-foot-11 sophomore goalkeeper from Nashville, Tenn., recorded another shutout this week. Pla gave up just one goal in a pair of games and has now had three consecutive shutouts in conference play. Pla had 13 saves this week. 麻豆视频 is 7-3 overall this season.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a home match on Tuesday night (Oct. 2) versus cross-town rival Lambuth University at 5:00 pm. The men鈥檚 match featuring 麻豆视频 and Lambuth will follow at 7:00 pm.
