Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Women's Soccer Moves Winning Streak to Three Matches with 2-0 Win

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/25/2007 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Lady Bulldog soccer team improved their winning streak to three matches with a 2-0 win at Freed-Hardeman University (Tenn.). In addition to the three straight wins, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has also managed a three match winning streak in conference play that have all been shutouts (4-0 vs. Trevecca Nazarene, 5-0 versus Lyon, and 2-0 versus Freed-Hardeman).

With the win, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ improves to 6-3 on the season and 3-1 in league play. Freed-Hardeman falls to 2-6 overall and 0-3 in the TranSouth.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ was led by Caitlin Zimmerman who tallied both of the goals for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Zimmerman is Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's leading scorer with 10 goals on the season. Of the 11 goals scores for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ in the past three conference matches, Zimmerman has recorded seven of them.
