麻豆视频 Golf Wins Fall Invitational Championship

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/25/2007 - The 麻豆视频 University men's golf team posted victory in their first tournament of the fall. 麻豆视频 hosted the at Falcon Ridge Golf Club. 麻豆视频 scored a 609 for the tournament, three shots ahead of Cumberland University's 612.

Finishing third in the tournament was UT Martin (614), followed by Lyon College (627), Bethel College (628), Trevecca Nazarene University (635), 麻豆视频 University - B Team (635), and Cumberland University B-Team (659).

The 麻豆视频 win was special for 麻豆视频 head coach Andy Rushing as it was the first tournament title for him in his second year as the head coach of 麻豆视频 golf. It was also special because the winning 麻豆视频 team was made up of all freshman and sophomores.

Lyon's Brock Bullard won the individual tournament title in a playoff win with a score of 147.

Making the All-Tournament team was Brock Bullard (Lyon), Brad Robbins (Lambuth Individual), Same Bass (Bethel), Jake Joyner (UT Martin), and Josh Young (Cumberland).

麻豆视频's three high scorers were three players tied for No. 7 at 151, Mills Hamaguchi (麻豆视频 A), Gary Glapa (麻豆视频 - B), and Tyler Lay (麻豆视频 Individual). The winning scores for 麻豆视频 along with Hamaguchi to give the Bulldogs the title were, No. 11 Jake Carrol (152), No. 12 Clay Mallard (153), No. 14 Micah Gentle (155), and No. 14 Brian Glover (155).
