Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University's men's soccer team is National Christian College
Athletic Association Mideast Regional Champions.

The Bulldogs defeated Oakland City College (Ind.), 13-1, on
Saturday in the championship match. The victory qualified Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ
for the NCCAA national tournament which begins Friday in Orlando,
Fla.
Joe Phiri lead the Bulldogs with four goals, which set a school
record for most goals in a single game. Phiri also dished out two
assists.
Leandro Carvalho scored three goals, and Kekec Zhivkovic added
two goals for the Bulldogs (16-5). David Delaughter, Kolo Goshi,
Nic Barjaktarevic and Ryan Smith also scored goals.
Last season, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ finished sixth in the national tournament.
"Obviously, we're hoping to go down and give a good
showing," Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ coach Darin White said. "I feel like
we've got a team that's got some experience. We do expect it to be
a very, very competitive tournament.
