Â鶹ÊÓƵ Volleyball Players Earn
NCCAA Honors
Jackson, TN—Lauren Hayden continues to add
to her collection of awards as she was named to the NCCAA
All-Tournament team. She was also named to the NCCAA All-American
team. Hayden, a junior from Bellville, IL, has 2600 career kills
which moves her into third place all-time in the NAIA. She needs
only 3 kills to move into second and 129 kills for first. Middle
hitter Sarah Davenport, a sophomore from Bartlett, TN, was named
as a NCCAA All-American Scholar Athlete.
Lady Bulldogs will attempt to defend their
title as they play next in the TranSouth Tournament in Birmingham,
AL on the 10-11 of November. Â鶹ÊÓƵ will then host the NAIA Region
XI Tournament on November 16-18 at Fred DeLay Gymnasium on Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s
campus.
