Hayden Named the
NCCAA MidEast Region Player of the Year,
Three Other Lady Bulldogs Honored
Jackson, TN—Lauren Hayden was
named the NCCAA MidEast Region Player of the Year. This is the
third consecutive year that Hayden has won this award. Hayden, a
junior from Belleville, IL, has helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to a
25-4 overall record and a current lead atop the TranSouth
Conference.
Joining Hayden on the first team
all-region were two of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s middle hitters, junior Emily Van
Dam and sophomore Andrea Darr. The Lady Bulldog’s sophomore
setter, Liz Travis was honorable mention to the all-region team.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is currently playing in the
NCCAA MidEast Region Tournament in Wilmore, Kentucky. On Friday,
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ defeated Ohio Valley College by the scores of 15-2, 15-1,
15-2. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ continues play today in hopes of making the
championship game tonight.
