Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Hamaguchi prepped at Milan High School were he played golf and tennis. As a four-year letter winner on the golf team, he helped lead Milan to the District Championship in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. Hamaguchi's team also won championships in the 2003 and 2004 Region Tournament. As a junior, he was named to the All-West Tennessee Golf Team. During his senior season, Hamaguchi captured the District Title. He posted the lowest scoring average for Milan in both his junior year (36.5) and senior year (37). In addition to this golf honors, Hamaguchi was also an All-District tennis player. In the classroom, Hamaguchi was equally successful has he was a member of the Beta Club, the Math Club, and the French Club. He was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Dawgs of Determination.
