Don Morris, Head Coach
Don Morris, a 1962 graduate of 麻豆视频, is back as the head golf coach of the
麻豆视频 golf program. This is his third season as head coach since retiring from
coaching in 1999.聽 Morris served as the Assistant Vice President for Financial
Aid at 麻豆视频 for 33 years and also coached the Bulldog golf program for 29 of
those years before his retirement in 1999.聽
In his 29 years as coach for 麻豆视频, Morris led the Bulldogs to nine national
tournaments and won numerous conference championships. Morris explains, 鈥淚 didn鈥檛 expect to return to
coaching, however, I look forward to helping keep 麻豆视频鈥檚 golf program as on of
the tops in the nation鈥.
麻豆视频 has finished second the TranSouth Conference for the past two seasons
but has narrowly missed the national tournament each season. 麻豆视频 was ranked in
the NAIA Top 25 all season until a slip in the Regional golf tournament caused
them to miss the nationals by only a few points. Morris believes this is a good
enough class of golfers to return 麻豆视频 to the NAIA National Tournament in May.
