The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Lady Bulldogs used all 40 minutes of the ballgame to defeat a very fired up Martin Methodist College team by the score of 69-68. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ trailed by eight (42-34) at halftime and were down by as many as 12 in the second half but once again came from behind to earn the TranSouth Conferenc win. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ improves to 22-1 overall and 9-0 in the conference. Martin Methodist College falls to 5-19 overall and 1-8 in league play.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ was led in scoring by Jennifer Henson with 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting from behind the arc. Stephanie Clark posted her third straight double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Molly York added 10 points for the Lady Bulldogs. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ shot just 32% from the field, including 29% in the first half. The Lady Bulldogs shot 35% (10-29) from behind the arc and 81% (13-16) from the free throw line. Martin Methodist was led by Danielly Dyer with 13 points and nine rebounds. The RedHawks shot 49% from the field. and 39% (5-13) from behind the arc.
