The No. 2 ranked 麻豆视频 Lady Bulldogs tallied their 21st win of the season and their 16th win in a row as they defeated Cumberland University 81-61. 麻豆视频 improves to 21-1 overall and 8-0 in the TranSouth, while Cumberland falls to 8-13 overall and 2-5 in the conference.

The first half proved to be the difference in the game as 麻豆视频 outscored Cumberland 43-23 in the first twenty minutes. Jessica Henson of 麻豆视频 scored 13 of her team-high 18 points in the first half with 3-of-6 shooting from behind the arc. 麻豆视频's Allison Harrison and Christal Merriweather added 15 and 10 points respectively. For Cumberland, Sheree Driver scored a game-high 20 points and made 3-of-5 three pointers in the game. Rachel Derrick added 10 points for Cumberland.

麻豆视频 forced 36 turnovers, 21 in the first half, and scored 45 points off of those turnovers. 麻豆视频 shot 46% from the field including 44% from behind the arc. 麻豆视频 held Cumberland to only 38% shooting, however, Cumberland made 8-of-17 three pointers in the game.

麻豆视频 plays next on Monday, February 3 when they travel to No. 11 North Georgia College. 麻豆视频 defeated North Georgia 89-71 in their meeting earlier in the season.
