The Bulldogs broke a two game losing skid, and just as important, got their offence back on track with a six goal explosion in today's conference road match. Senior captian, Scott Marksberry produced his best game of the season as he scored two goals and added two assists. Joe Phiri, Adrian Yeung, Matt Gladle, and Rickey Mena added one goal each on the day. Daniel Banks pitched in with his season high two assists with Grant Taylor and Josue Tuchez having one assist apiece.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ outshot Freed-Hardeman 20-3 on the day and produced eight corner kicks to the Lions zero. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's goalie, Jeff Lean earned his third shut-out of the season with two saves.
The Bulldogs will travel to Tennessee Temple on Thusday night. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ then will host the West Tennessee Colligate Soccer Cup Monday and Tuesday of next week. Bethel College, Freed-Hardeman University, Lambuth University, and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will battle for local bragging rights.
