Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University pulled off their third third road win over a top TranSouth teams as they defeated No. 12 ranked Freed-Hardeman at Henderson, Tenn. 84-78. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ improves to 16-13 on the season and 4-8 in the conference. Freed-Hardeman falls to 21-8 overall and 7-5 in the conference.

The Bulldogs led 43-32 at halfime after controlling the game for most of the first half. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ shot 57% from the field in the first half including 44% (4-9) from behind the arc. Freed-Hardeman was a far cry from their 72% first half outburst from their earlier meeting with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as they managed only 33% shooting including 17% (2-12) from behind the arc. Early in the second half, Freed-Hardeman rallied and cut into the lead. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ continued to hold off a the Lions as they pushed it back to a 10 point lead with just under eight minutes to play. Freed-Hardeman got as close as three points late, but couldn't overcome the cold shooting. For the game, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ shot 47% from the field and made 7-of-20 three pointers. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ also made 27-of-38 from the free throw line including 22-of-28 in the second half to seal the win. Freed-Hardeman shot 41% from the field, 32% from behind the arc, and 68% from the free throw line.
