The woes continue for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bulldogs as they dropped to 0-3 in the TranSouth with their third straight home loss. Trevecca helded on for the 61-57 victory. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ falls to 10-8 overall and Trevecca improves to 11-5 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
Trevecca led 34-31 at the half. The game was close for the entire 40 minutes with both teams struggling to take control. Both teams committed 15 turnovers, however, Trevecca scored 15 points off turnovers compared to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's seven points. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ made 10-27 three pointers for 37% shooting but made just 9 of 15 from the free throw line and shot a season low 35% from the field. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ held Trevecca to 37% shooting on the night.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ was led by Michael Palmer and Michael Katrosh with 12 each. Chima Abakwue added 10 points and Derrick Underwood led Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ with 11 rebounds. Trevecca was paced by Marshall Hyler and Jared Austin with 14 points apiece. Maro Kandic's seven boards was tops for the Trojans.
