Before 麻豆视频: Phelps transferred from Barton County Community College where he played one year of baseball. He was also a member of the baseball team at the University of Arkansas and attended high school at Valley Center High School where he played baseball and basketball. Phelps participated in the 18 year old NBC World Series Championship. At Valley Center High in his senior year, he was Team Captain, All-Conference, and Academic All-State in basketball. In baseball, Phelps was All-Conference DF his junior and senior years and Honrable Mention All-State his senior year. Off the field, he was involved in National Honor Society and received the Army National Scholar/Athlete Award.
