He ended his career with the Bulldogs by posting a 17-year Â鶹ÊÓƵ record of 580-362 (.617) and a 20-year career record of 664-460 (.591). He recorded 14 seasons with at least 30 wins, three seasons with at least 40 wins, and never posted a lossing record while at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Rushing led Â鶹ÊÓƵ to three conference titles and five region tournament appearances.
