Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Hansen transferred to Â鶹ÊÓƵ after just one season at Iowa Central Community College where he earned numerous honors as a freshman. He was named first team All-Region, first team All-District, and second team All-American. Hansen hit .370 with 50 runs, 69 hits, four homeruns, 40 RBI and a .457 on-base-percentage during this past spring of 2007. Hansen prepped at Lakeville High School in Lakeville, Minn. where he played three seasons of baseball. He was named All-Conference as a junior and senior. Hansen added first team All-State, and MVP of the East West All-Star game as a senior.
