Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Burnett came to Â鶹ÊÓƵ from Westminster Christian Academy where he played baseball and basketball. In baseball, he was named MVP and All-Metro (Huntsville) as a sophomore when he hit .342. He was named to the East-West All-Star game as a junior. Burnett was also the Freshman Class President at Westminster.
