#21 Tim Watson
FR, 6-2, 185
Hometown: Hohenwald, Tenn. Previous School: Lewis County HS
Coach’s Comments. Tim has great stuff. He has an explosive
fastball, sharp breaking ball, and a late moving change-up. Tim is one of the
hardest workers on the staff. He missed much of the fall with an illness, but
will have a great career at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ Career. 2005...First Bulldog Season.
Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Watson prepped at Lewis County HS where he played
baseball and basketball before graduating in 2004. As a senior, he posted a 7-2
record with a 1.28 ERA. He struck out 10 or more batters in seven of his nine
games. He is the only pitcher in Lewis County history to throw a no-hitter. At
the plate, he hit .415 with 29 RBI and five homeruns last season. He was named
All-District in baseball as both a junior and senior. As a junior basketball
player, Watson was a three-time player of the week.
