Previous School: Munford HS
Coach’s Comments. Zach proved to be a valuable recruit as a
freshman as his first was a stellar one. He split time last season at the
catcher position, but was in the line up everday because of his potent bat. Will
be everyday catcher in 2005 once back from injury. Zach is a great all around
baseball player with all the tools.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ Career. 2004...hit .366 with 49 hits, 10 doubles, 2
triples, 3 homeruns, and 29 RBI...made just three errors in 134 chances as a
catcher and back-up right fielder.
Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Zach prepped at Munford HS where he helped lead
the team to district, region, and sub-state championships in 2002 and 2003. His
team finished runner-up in state in 2003. Zach was named All-Metro, MVP,
All-District Tournament Team, All-State Tournament Team, and All-Region during
high school.
