Steve returns to Â鶹ÊÓƵ after posting a good freshman season...was Â鶹ÊÓƵ's starting third baseman as a freshman and also pitched in 10 games as a reliever...hit .315 with 16 doubles, 3 triples, 2 homeruns, and 34 RBI...on the mound, Steve pitched in 13 innings with a 4.15 ERA as a reliever.
Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Steve was best high school player in West Tennessee last year...hit and pitched for Lexington's state championship in 2002...in addition to his state title in 2002, he also set new school records for homeruns in a game with 4. In each of his final three season's of high school, he was all-district, all-region, and all-state. Hit over .500 for his career and had an ERA under 2.00.
